THE ROAD. was commisioned by the Greek flute player Martha Gkolia and the Syrian cello player Obada Zabadina. The greatest challenge of this composition which road to take to be able to combine this unusual instrumentation!

It was premiered in 2021 in De Nieuwe Vorst Theater in the city of Tilburg.
